The Registrar is our official record keeper. It is the role of the registrar to maintain both current and archived student records in accordance with the Illinois Administrative Code provided by the Illinois State Board of Education School policies. The Registrar can assist you by providing official or unofficial transcripts, and approval for various other documents including Driver Education Approval forms, Attendance Verification and Good Student Driver insurance forms and social security benefit forms.

Alumni Transcript Requests & Job Verification Requests

Vernon Hills High School has partnered with Parchment to order and send your transcript (official and unnofficial) and other credentials securely. This button below will open a new browser to request a Vernon Hills High School official transcript or job verification form. The cost to order a transcript is $5.00.

Please note that such requests may take up to 5 days to process.  Unofficial transcripts may be sent directly to your email. An unofficial transcript does not have a school seal or signature. 

In order to request a transcript, you will need: 

  • Your name
  • The year you graduated
  • Date of Birth
  • Photo Identification (State issued)
  • Where you want the transcript sent
  • Electronic Signature

Transcript Release Information

Official Transcripts: Only official transcripts can be used for college applications. Official transcripts are sent directly from the high school to the college(s) of your choice through SCHOOLINKS. For more information, please contact the CRC for details. 

Unofficial Transcripts: 9-12th-grade students can find a copy of an unofficial transcript in their SCHOOLINKS account. You may use an unofficial copy for College Visits, self reporting grades, proof of address for the DMV, and proof of grades for a good student car insurance discount.

Official Transcripts for NCAA or Scholarship: If a student needs an official transcript to be submitted to the NCAA or a Scholarship foundation, please log into your SCHOOLINKS account and request an Official transcript to be sent directly to them.

Driver Education Forms: Private driving schools will provide the student with a "Driver Education Approval Form". Please bring this form to the Registrar's office for a signature. You may also email me the completed and signed form to my email address found above. This form verifies that your student attends VHHS and has received a passing grade in at least 8 courses during the previous two semesters and is therefore eligible for private driving instruction. ONCE the course is successfully completed or a driver's license is obtained, bring either document to the Registrar to be added to your transcript.
