Cougar Parent Connection
The Cougar Parent Connection is a parent led group that assists the VHHS staff with communication and volunteer support of student activities and programs, while also fundraising to help contribute toward student needs and staff events.

CPC 2024-2025 Rundown
- 2 All Staff Breakfasts (August and December)
- Provided Jersey Mikes Dinner for All Staff at September Open House
- Donated three microwaves and one toaster oven for students and staff use
- Supplied prizes (VHHS maze pens) for all students at the October Healthy Lifestyle Fair
- Provided volunteers for the coat check at Homecoming and Winter Dance
- Contributed Funds for the Staff Holiday Party
- Provided volunteers for the Pi Day celebration
- Served all Staff a deluxe buffet luncheon with a variety of cuisines from local restaurants, with special thanks to Blufish Sushi, Wick N Ore, Hitz, Duck Donuts, Bibim Town, Dos Amigos, Bonta, City BBQ, D'Angelas Dumplings, and Pita Inn for donated or reduced price food items.
- Contributed funds for the Dr. Guillaume Mural in lobby
- Supported the Senior Party Committee in party planning

Teacher and Staff Appreciation
Please donate to the Teacher and Staff Appreciation Luncheon. Our Vernon Hills High School teachers, staff, and administration work tirelessly and remain dedicated to our students and school throughout the year. In May, the Cougar Parent Connection hosts our annual VHHS Staff Appreciation Luncheon. While local restaurants provide some donations or discounted food to feed over 300 staff members, we could use your help! We appreciate your donation to support our efforts to make the luncheon a success.
