Congratulations to the 2012 Vernon Hills High School Boys’ Bowling Team on another Second Place IHSA  State Trophy.  The athletes gave a tremendous effort on two days of rigorous competition.  Outstanding performances were made by:  Sam Fink (13^th) overall individually and News Sun Athlete of the Week, Parish Ashford, David Goldberg, Jeremy Steininger, Eric Swanson, and Alex Winter.  Other members of the squad were:  Justin Becker and Zach Furlett.  They were coached by Ron Long and Bill Spigner.
