If you took a class in the Art Department this year (either Fall or Spring), please pick up your artwork from Mrs. Dahlstrom or Miss Molloy sometime this week or next.  Artwork from Miss Molloy’s classes will be in Studio Room 1304 on tables separated by class and project.  Artwork from Mrs. Dahlstrom’s Photography classes will be in Room 1315 on a large table near the windows.  Before taking your work, please check-in with Mrs. Dahlstrom or Miss Molloy.  Have a fantastic summer!! A big thank you to all the Cougars who donated items for the used school supply collection.  The AP Econ students were able to deliver over 15 boxes of school supplies (including over 90 folders and spirals) to the Vernon Area Pantry for their Backpackers Club.  Way to go Cougars!  A special thank you to Mrs. Dovel, Mrs. Krumpack and Mrs. Meister-Louria for their large donations.  If you have any items you still wish to donate, please drop them in Room 2201.  (Dircks 5/22)

Come join us for an after exams event on Wednesday, May 30^th from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. at Party Fantasy, 342 Townline Road in Mundelein, for an evening of arcade games, go carts, climbing wall, giant inflatables and listen to great music from both VHHS and LHS students!  There is a $5 entrance fee and snacks are available for purchase.  Sponsored by the Community Partnership for Healthy Youth.  (Pither 5/24)

Summer school confirmation letters will be mailed home this week.  If you have enrolled and paid for your Summer School  class(es) you will receive a letter home confirming your class,  teacher and room number.  If you signed up for bus service for Summer School – check the d128 website on May 30^th for the bus routes.  If you requested a Summer School class, but have decided not to take it – please see your Counselor as soon as possible.  (Wenzel 5/24)
